The 5/8" | 5/8" SAE nipple fits Nordic Tec Ba-26-F refrigerant heat exchangers, which have a 5/8" inlet on the freon side. It is also possible to solder this fitting into classic water-to-water heat exchangers with a 3/4" BSP thread, such as those from the Ba-12 or Ba-23 series.

The 5/8" nipples with a transition to SAE 5/8" fit the following gas-to-liquid heat exchangers from the Nordic Tec catalog – specifically on the "gas" side, where pipes are provided for soldering:
