Heating Circuits Manifold for Pump Groups | Nordic Tec 2-4 | 4 way
Hydraulic Manifold for Pump Groups | Nordic Tec 2-4
A manifold for pump groups that allows connection of 2-3 pump groups / 1 or 2 heat sources. Alternatively, a third output circuit and one heat source can be connected. The system features a standard connection spacing of 125 mm, making it compatible with most pump groups available on the market. The 2-4 distributor is an ideal complement to the pump groups available in our store.
- Distributor with space for 2 pump groups on one side, totally can be with 3 pump groups
- ☑️ When using only one heat source - the set includes plugs to seal any unused connections.
- The distributor is equipped with 1 1/2" connection nuts with external thread, suitable for connecting standard pump groups.
- The distributor is covered with a thick insulating layer of EPP foam.
- The device also functions as a hydraulic coupling, positively influencing the pressure environment in the system.
The distributor is a hydraulic device that performs several functions: it provides separation between the primary circuit (e.g., boiler) and the heating circuit. This eliminates the need for hydraulic adjustment between these two circuits. Additionally, the distributor allows independent operation of both circuits with their own flow rate (coupling function).
☑️ Our store also offers larger distributors for pump groups as well as 130mm pump groups or 180mm. You can assemble a complete set with pump groups and a distributor.

Heating circuit manifold in Combination with Pump Groups
The heating circuit manifold-distributor in a system with pump groups plays a very important role – it combines the functions of a hydraulic coupling and a heating circuit distributor.
Main tasks of the distributor:-manifold
- Hydraulic separation of the heat source circuit (e.g., boiler, heat pump, or fireplace) from the heating circuits (e.g., underfloor heating, radiators) – thanks to this, the pumps in the pump groups can operate independently of the boiler pump.
- With the Nordic Tec 2-4 distributor, you can actually connect up to 2 heat sources – which will have independent pump circuits and will not negatively affect each other in terms of pressure.
- Flow stabilization – prevents flow disturbances in the system that could arise due to differences in pump performance across various circuits.
- Distributing supply to multiple heating circuits (in this case, 2 or 3) – the distributor has the appropriate number of output connections (e.g., 2, 3, or 4), to which you can connect pump groups. Everything is visible in the attached product photos.
When Should a Pump Group Distributor Be Used?
The coupling-distributor is typically used in heating systems where there is:
- Multiple heating circuits, but also, for example, a clear temperature separation between heating (CH) and domestic hot water (DHW) (as in buildings with underfloor heating).
- Varied supply temperatures – meaning two cooperating heating systems within one building (e.g., radiators and underfloor heating).
- A need for hydraulic separation (the reasons may vary, e.g., a large building or a multi-story building).
