The Ba-60-80 1 1/4" plate heat exchanger is distinguished by a large plate surface area of 4.8 m², making it one of the largest models in the Nordic Tec Ba-60 series. Due to its large plate surface and relatively large connections, this heat exchanger is typically used in larger heating systems and setups. It is often applied for connecting monoblock heat pumps. In glycol-water circuits, the Ba-60-80 can serve monoblock heat pumps with a capacity of 16 to 34 kW, while in water-water circuits (for separating split heat pumps), it can support units with a capacity of up to 40-42 kW. With a surface area of almost 5 m², this heat exchanger is not designed for single-family homes, but is more suitable for larger installations.
