Nordic Tec Solar Pump Station is used in solar installations and systems, typically intended for domestic hot water heating and supporting building heating systems. Thanks to integrated elements such as shut-off valves, safety group with safety valve, or flow meter, it enables efficient and safe operation of the entire solar system.
The pumping station ensures optimal circulation of the heat transfer fluid between solar collectors and the hot water storage tank (simply the DHW tank), which translates into efficient use of solar energy and savings in conventional energy consumption. The solar station, gathering all these elements together, simply saves time and space in the boiler room.
The air separator in the solar pump station plays a crucial role in ensuring trouble-free and efficient operation of the entire installation. Its task is to remove air bubbles and gases dissolved in the heat transfer fluid, which could cause circulation disturbances, noise, and over time, reduce system efficiency. Thanks to the air separator, the circulation pump operates more stably and longer, wearing out more slowly (which translates to lower operating costs). The rotameter in the solar station is designed to measure and control the flow of the heat transfer fluid in the circuit between the solar collectors and the hot water storage tank. Thanks to it, the installer or user can easily check whether the flow in the system is correct, uninterrupted, and possibly adjust its value to the requirements of the solar heating system. Maintaining proper flow is crucial for efficient solar energy harvesting, preventing collector overheating, and ensuring uniform operation of the installation. Rotameter thus enables not only monitoring but also regulation of the solar system's operating parameters, which translates into its longevity and maximum efficiency. The rotameter is factory-included in this solar station offer.
Rotameters are also found in other devices (typically in underfloor distribution manifolds), but it should be remembered that only specially adapted rotameters, including in shape, are mounted in solar stations.
The solar pump station from this offer is a two-way station (also called dual-circuit). This means a hydraulic set designed for solar installations, which has two circuits for the heat transfer fluid – one incoming from the solar collectors and one outgoing towards the hot water storage tank. In this case, there are no mixing points or mixing valves that could connect these two paths.
