When using glycol as the heating medium, the efficiency of the swimming pool heat exchanger decreases to 85-92%, depending on the glycol concentration.

  • The 175 kW power of the heat exchanger is achieved using a water-water medium, with a temperature difference between the two media of 60 degrees C (100% efficiency).

    Efficiency in case of temperature difference between the media:
    - for 50 °C = 85% | 148 kW
    - for 40 °C = 70% | 122 kW
    - for 30 °C = 55% | 96 kW
    - for 20 °C = 35% | 62 kW
  • When using glycol as the heating medium, the efficiency of the swimming pool heat exchanger decreases to 85-92%, depending on the glycol concentration.

Heat exchanger material: Stainless steel 316L (100%) - designed to operate with chlorinated water, even highly chlorinated.

Intended use (fluids) - the shell and tube heat exchanger for swimming pool B600 ✅ is designed for fresh water, use with saltwater or seawater is not recommended. If you have a seawater pool or add salt to the water, you should use a titanium heat exchanger.

  • Heat transfer fluid / heat source side: 66 l/min
  • Heated fluid / pool water: 432 l/min

Operating pressure: up to 6 bar - Test pressure: 10 bar

Fluid connections

  • 2x 2 inches - heat transfer fluid connections - K1 and K4
  • 2x 2 1/2 inches - heated fluid connections - K3 and K2

Pool volume (recommended):

  • Up to 200 m³ nominally, maintaining a temperature difference between the media of about 60 °C and adequate flow levels.
  • In case of insufficient heating parameters, the suggested volume may not be adequately supported by the heat exchanger. In practice, with low-temperature heat sources, the B600 heat exchanger usually handles pools in the range of 100-150 m³ (proper device selection requires appropriate qualifications).

  • K1 - heat transfer fluid inlet
  • K2 - heated fluid outlet
  • K3 - fluid to be heated inlet
  • K4 - heat transfer fluid outlet

Swimming pool heat exchangers are connected in a counterflow manner, as shown in the image above, to ensure maximum heat exchange efficiency.
