The 170-plate heat exchanger Nordic Tec Ba-115-170 - a vacuum brazed heat exchanger for industrial heating and cooling systems with large heat transfer surface and 2 1/2" connections. This is not a heat exchanger for single-family homes.
The large industrial heat exchanger Nordic Tec Ba-115-170 is a highly efficient and robust solution for applications requiring high thermal performance. Equipped with 170 stainless steel plates (INOX 316L), it ensures effective heat transfer even at high flow rates and heavy system loads. The large connection diameters enable handling of high flow rates with relatively low pressure drops. This model is ideal for industrial plants, heating and cooling systems as well as for use with high-performance units. Thanks to its construction, it offers reliability, durability and high efficiency over a long operating period. For safety reasons, the product is delivered in a crate on a pallet (weight approx. 100 kg).

The heat transfer area, i.e. the plate area of the Ba-115-170 heat exchanger, is nearly 20 m², to be precise: 19.55 m². Such a large working area enables extremely effective heat exchange between the media, resulting in high efficiency of the entire system. The plate area is essentially the only objective parameter determining the performance capability of the heat exchanger - regardless of the media temperature or flow rate. The specially developed system of 170 corrugated plates ensures optimal flow conditions (relatively low pressure drops) and maximum utilization of the heat transfer area, making the Ba-115-170 model the ideal solution for industrial applications and high-performance systems. Also noteworthy is the corrugation of the inner plates, which creates turbulent flow and thereby increases heat transfer efficiency.
