Pool Titanium Heat Exchanger NORDIC Tec B210-Ti 61 kW 210 kBTU/H

Swimming Pool Heat Exchanger B210-Ti made of Titanium

A 45kW heat exchanger made entirely of titanium, without any admixtures of other materials, to ensure durability when used with media such as seawater, saline, or high-salt content fluids.

Nominal Capacity: 61kW
based on 60 °C difference between heating and heated medium (water to water),
with counter-courent work

Material: 100% Titanium Heat Exchanger

Heat Exchange surface: 0.44 m²

Connections: 4x 1 1/2"

Important Note: If one of media is glicol, the capacity will be only 85-90% of nominal one

Titanium heat exchanger for salt swimming pool heating, made of 100% Titanium - resistant to high chlorine concentrations, swimming pool chemicals and especially salt. Can be used with sea water too. The device type is a tube heat exchanger (or shell and tube).
Nordic Tec pool heat exchangers from Titanium Series can work with most heat sources available on the market - heat pumps, gas boilers, water-jacket fireplaces, and others. It is also permissible to use the heat exchanger as a component for swimming pool heating using glycol-filled solar collectors.

Titanium shell-and-tube heat exchanger Nordic Tec B210-Ti

Titanium heat exchanger 61 kW for heating salt water pools or water with added salt.

Technical Details:
Nominal value 61kW of a titanium heat exchanger B210-Ti is based on 60 °C difference
between heating water and pool water (calculations are different for other media).
If there is other temperature difference, the capacity is following:
60 °C = 100%
50 °C = 85%
40 °C = 70%
30 °C = 55%
The nominal flowrates values are also required to achieve the declared capacity.

Nominal flowrates: 32/237 l/min (one of opportunities)

Maximal temperature - up to 208°C (406 °F)

Connecting titaniumexchanger B210-Ti to installations while maintaining countercurrent flow

Titanium units B210-Ti, similar to stainless steel heat exchangers B210, should be connected in countercurrent flow to achieve maximum heat exchanger efficiency.

Application of Titanium Heat Exchangers | B210-Ti

Titanium heat exchangers are constructed entirely from titanium, a material that is not standard and, in essence, is quite rare and expensive. In standard applications, stainless steel heat exchangers are used and are sufficient, for example, for heating pools or for heat exchange in most industrial applications. Wherever the equivalent stainless steel model can be used, it is done so because titanium models are typically about three times more expensive, primarily due to material costs.

Titanium heat exchangers, on the other hand, are only used in the most demanding applications, to work with the most aggressive media. In pool heating, this includes saltwater, seawater, or saline pools. Because a heat exchanger needs to be effective in heat transfer, it cannot be composed of large blocks of steel - instead, it consists of thin tubes capable of transferring heat energy to the other side. Over time, it would deteriorate under the influence of salt. Thin sheets of stainless steel have their strength, and certain salt concentrations definitely exceed it.

In addition to their use in saltwater pools, titanium heat exchangers are most often ordered by companies from various industrial sectors where the heat exchanger typically functions as a cooler for other aggressive media, such as acidic substances.
