Set of valves with thermometers in 1" size for heat exchangers
and other hydraulic devices
The set includes 2 valves in intuitive colors – red and blue.
Each valve includes a thermometer that can be used on both sides of the valve.
The set is universal and can be used with various hydraulic devices where, at some point, it may be necessary to isolate them from the system (for example for servicing purposes) without the need to drain water from the entire installation. Additionally, the combination of a valve and a thermometer allows us to monitor the temperature at flow points in important parts of the installation.
Example application of the shut-off valve – heat exchangers
Valves with temperature measurement are recommended for installation with plate heat exchangers, as they allow monitoring of their operation and help detect possible problems such as clogging or scaling of the exchanger (even after many years), as well as installation errors, mistakes resulting from incorrect device selection, etc. – because most heat exchanger problems are manifested precisely by a temperature drop behind the exchanger and an increase in heat loss on the device.
In the event of problems with the plate heat exchanger, the valve allows the exchanger to be isolated without removing water from the installation – which helps save costs. The device can then be safely descaled or checked for leaks.
Please note that the ball valve we offer has a 1" thread size, which makes it dedicated to exchangers with the same size.

Example application – central heating manifolds
The valve with thermometers works perfectly with heating manifolds, especially underfloor heating systems, where controlling the temperature supplied to the installation provides great convenience. Virtually every modern underfloor heating system should have measurement of the medium supplying the floor – regardless of the information shown on the boiler or thermostatic head.
When purchasing the valve set, we do not offer free color selection – the set includes 1 red butterfly handle and 1 blue butterfly handle.
