Set of ball valves 3/4" from Nordic Tec
We have included 3/4" shut-off ball valves in our offer ussually as a complement to PHE - plate heat exchangers with a 3/4" thread. Therefore we primarily sell them as shut-off valves for plate heat exchangers - but of course, they are a universal product and can be used wherever a shut-off valve in DN20 size is required.
The set includes 2 pieces of butterfly valves in intuitively chosen colors, traditionally red and blue.
The valve set is universal, meaning there are no obstacles to using it in every place in heating system, domestic hot water systems - or refrigeration installations. It will prove useful in any situation where there might arise a need to shut off part of the system. It can serve as a safety valve in case of boiler damage or any other hydraulic equipment failure.
Example application of a 3/4" ball valve - plate heat exchangers
3/4" ball valves are recommended for installation before heat exchangers of different types - if they are compatible with a given deice in terms of thread diumension. The valve serves as a safeguard in case of a malfunction , servicing of the heat exchanger is needed.
If we have a problem with our plate heat exchanger, the shut-off valve allows it to be cut-off from the water system - without the need of draining the water from.
