The Ba-68-20-F gas plate heat exchanger is typically used as an evaporator or condenser in heat pumps or similar devices such as refrigeration units and air conditioners. It is employed in systems where heat transfer occurs between the gas refrigerant (e.g., R404, R32, and others) and water or a water-glycol mixture.
The resistance of the refrigerant exchanger to pressures up to 45 bar is a fundamental feature that sets it apart from conventional liquid exchangers, which typically have certification for only 20-30 bar.

The Ba-68-20 refrigerant heat exchanger is one of the Nordic Tec gas exchangers from the Ba-68 series. With a surface area of 1,360 m², it is well-suited for servicing heat pumps or units operating on R410a, R32, and similar refrigerants with a nominal capacity of 10-14 kW.
