Freon Heat Exchanger - 20-Plate Ba-26-20-F for Refrigerants

This heat exchanger is designed for installations where one of the media is a gaseous refrigerant (such as Freon or a similar gas), while the other medium is a more traditional liquid medium - water or a water-glycol mixture. It is a heat exchanger tailored for a narrower range of applications with these specific media. The term "Freon heat exchanger" is used colloquially due to the most common medium used, but it can also work with media that have properties similar to Freon.

The 20-plate Freon heat exchanger is also optionally available with thermal insulation, which increases heat transfer efficiency by reducing heat loss to the surroundings.

This device is suitable for use as a condenser in heat pumps, air conditioning units, and similar systems. The heat exchanger can operate with refrigerants like R404A, R32, and similar ones.

As can be seen in the above graph, the 20-plate Ba-26-20-F Freon heat exchanger is the smallest model in the Ba-26 series, which is entirely designed for gas-liquid heat exchange and classified as high-pressure (45 bar or 4.5 MPa). It is the smallest gas heat exchanger in our catalog. It has a plate surface area of 0.52m², which translates to effective compatibility with heat pumps typically rated at 3-5 kW, depending on the input parameters. Similar is the expected capacity of refrigeration units or air conditioners, which can be effectively handled by this model.

If the heat exchange surface area of approximately 0.52m² is too small for your application, please check the larger models in the same series, as shown in the graph above. Among them are the Freon heat exchangers Ba-26-34 with 0.88m², Ba-26-50 with 1.3m², and Ba-26-60 with 1.56m².
