The heat exchange surface area of the 22-plate exchanger is 0.350 m². This plate surface allows for the operation of small heating devices such as boilers or fireplaces with a capacity typically up to 15 kW, and in some cases up to 20 kW. The Ba-16-22 plate heat exchanger is one of the smallest exchangers in the Ba-16 series, as shown in the chart above. If you need a larger plate surface, we encourage you to review the entire Ba-16 series, focusing on models with a higher number of plates. A series of Ba-16 heat exchangers - among them, a PHE Ba-16-22 is a good alternative when a small exchanger with a not very large heat transfer area is needed in the facility, but for some reasons requiring flows of solid intensity, and therefore also connections of min. 1". The Ba-16-22 model just fulfils this need - it has a nominal flow up to twice as much as similar to 3/4" exchangers. It works great, e.g. in buildings with an old installation, e.g. gravitational working, due to the fact that it generates relatively low resistance to flows.
