A very large industrial 180-plate heat exchanger – the Nordic Tec Ba-115-180 model is not used in small classic single-family homes; it is a device for industrial heating/cooling systems, also for low-temperature applications such as large industrial heat pumps or cascading gas heating boilers.
The Nordic Tec Ba-115-180 heat exchanger is an extremely robust solution for use in industrial and commercial buildings. With 180 corrugated steel plates, guaranteed turbulent flow, and a high Reynolds number, it ensures efficient heat transfer even under high flow rates and significant system load.
The connection diameters of 2 1/2 inches ensure high fluid throughput without causing excessive pressure drops. For delivery safety reasons, the heat exchanger is shipped in a crate on a pallet (weight over 100 kg).
