The Ba-68-40 freon-water heat exchanger is one of the larger PHE designed for gas or refrigerant, in the Nordic Tec catalogue in the Ba-68-F (freon) series. With this surface area row ( approximately 2.72 m² ), it provides excellent work with heat pumps or units operating with refrigerants like R410A, R32, R290, R404 etc.

The default version of the 40-plate exchanger Ba-68-40-F is the unit without accessories . However, if you want to improve its performance by adding a heat exchanger insulation.

Heat pump condenser 24 kW - 28 kW - Nordic Tec Ba-68-40-F heat exchanger for F-gases

If you are looking for a plate condenser for a larger heat pump - the Ba-68-40 heat exchanger from Nordic Tec is ideal for heat pumps with 24 kW. Then you are aware that the capacitor has been selected with some margin - because the heat exchanger can also handle heat pumps with 28 kW. The power parameter of the heat pump condenser was calculated for the refrigerant R410a - in some cases, however, the Ba-68-40-F model can easily work with even larger units - such as heat pumps with 30 kW - especially if they operate on more efficient F gases - like R32.
