The Ba-23-30 model is a liquid-liquid heat exchanger and should not be used for working with gas media, especially high-pressure or fluctuating pressure refrigerants such as R32, R134A, R290, and all similar ones. For this purpose, consider using refrigerant heat exchangers.

One of the most popular water to water heat exchangers on the market - which can work not only with water but as a glycol heat exchanger as well. Excellent choice for the system which heats the buildings up to 200-250 square meters, for example using condensing boilers or any other heating device operating on the similar temperatures (arround 45°C - 60°C), except heat pumps to which we recommend bigger plate surface.
The unit Ba-23-30 water to water heat exchanger is also an excellent solution in homebrewing. It has a capacity which is ideal for small home brewing sessions, like 30-50 litres of worth per one time. Thanks to quite a decent surface it doesn't require any bigger volume of cooling water. The Ba-23-30 model from Nordic Tec is a typical plate heat exchanger for single-family homes in terms of size and technical parameters. It's a plate heat exchanger designed to match the most popular devices used for heating single-family homes, precisely in the sizes suitable for such properties. These include boilers ranging from 20 to 25 kW (condensing, pellet, coal, biomass, oil) and fireplaces ranging from 20 to 24 kW. From the perspective of a plate heat exchanger for single-family homes, it doesn't matter whether the heating is underfloor or traditional radiator-based.
We often receive inquiries about the square footage a Ba-23-30 heat exchanger can heat in a building. It's a complex issue because the main criterion for selection should be the parameters of the heat source (such as the boiler, fireplace, stove with water jacket, etc.). However, in most common cases, it can heat homes up to approximately 200 to 250 m².
The Ba-23-30 heat exchanger is not suitable for connecting heat pumps. Heat pumps, as specific heating devices, should be connected to the installation using a heat exchanger with a relatively large heat exchange surface area to ensure relatively economical operation (assuming there is a need for a heat exchanger in the heating system).
