The Ba-60-70 heat exchanger was previously available in a traditional version with larger fittings – this offer presents a new version with 5/4" fittings. This variant was introduced at our customers' request. It's an excellent heat exchanger for heat pumps, particularly suitable as a buffer plate exchanger, ideal for monoblock systems (less frequently for split systems too).

Technical details of the buffer plate exchanger in this offer:

  • Made of S16L stainless steel, vacuum brazed with copper
  • Plate type: corrugated plate, maximum plate thickness 0.40 mm
  • Temperature range: from -225 to +228°C
  • Maximum operating pressure: 30.0 bar, liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger
  • DN32 size connections, therefore 5/4", external thread

The 5/4" exchanger has a surface area of 4.2 m² as shown in the chart. It is currently the largest exchanger in the standard Nordic Tec catalog with 5/4" connections. This large surface area makes it the ideal choice as a buffer plate exchanger, reliable even with large monoblock heat pumps operating with glycol.
