Additional equipment is a set of rotameters, i.e. flow meters, thanks to which we are able to check the flow of media. They are not necessary for the proper operation of the underfloor heating system, but we suggest you buy a manifold that comes with them if you want to be able to quickly diagnose any problems with a given loop (after all, we plan to use the floor heating system for many years).

Another important element is the shut-off valve. In our set, it takes the form of a butterfly valve for 1 ", which is additionally equipped with thermometers. Temperature measurement is also not necessary, but it can be very convenient and helpful. However, it is absolutely worth remembering that the manifold has a valve (on each side), which it can be cut off from the rest of the installation, without draining the water - whether in the case of modifications, service, breakdown, etc. Solid manifolds rarely fail, but remember that they are to work for many years, and yet they also contain elements with plastics like just a flow meter.
